Daft Punk goes live with Alive, new LP shot live. The single is Harder Better Faster Stronger (Alive 07). This video has been shot in Brooklyn thanks to cameras given to 250 people of the audience, and is directed by Olivier Gondry, brother of Michel.

Arcade Fire & Air in live

Brief sum-up of the lives I assisted on passed weeks.

On october the 17th I saw Arcade Fire at Alexandra Palace in London. The show was great as they really have of powerful music using chords, drums, brass to dispense melodies. Live show really impressive!

Then, i went on the 22nd to see Air in Le Zenith. The show was great as they play lots of old tracks and they conclude with a very rock'n'roll finish. Very good live.

Cold War Kids in La Cigale

Yesterday I assisted the live show of Cold War kids in La Cigale for the festival Les Inrocks. The performance was good as they really seemed to take pleasure while performing.

3 bands opened the evening and I had the cahnce to discover two of them:

Reverend & The Makers that plays a mix of rock and house music beats. Their performance made dance all the assistance. In addition the singer as charism and helped to make the show nice.

Blood Red Shoes, an original english band made of two members (Laura-Mary Carter et Steven Ansell). I appreciated a lot, made me think to the White Stripes.

We Will Rock You

I had the chance to go to see We Will Rock You this week-end in London. I warmly recommend it even if I'm not a big fan of musicals. Of course artists sing Freddy ercury's band songs with live music but the story largely inspired of Matrix is original. Bryan May and Roger Taylor -respectively guitar & drums of Queen- did collaborate to set up the show.
