Air+Phoenix+Etienne de Crécy+Alex Gopher

Yesterday evening I went to Versailles to see Air+Phoenix+Etienne de Crécy+Alex Gopher.

Unfortunatly the weather was not good with the bands... Air the band I was the most waiting for (I'm a big fan!) only played 2 tracks. I much appreciated Phoenix set that I already saw in l'Olympia.

I will have to buy tickets for the live in le Zenith but will have to wait until november !

Interpol, The Heinrich Maneuver

Interpol cultissime band from New York. Their new single with a stylish videoclip. Their new album is out July the 9th.

Manu Chao, Rainin' in Paradize

New single of the french counter-globalisation Manu Chao. The music is good and the video as always about fraternity. It has been directed by Emir Kusturica.

Jarvis Cocker, Running The World

1st single of the new album of Jarvis Cocker. This is live version of the track recorded in a french TV show.

Amy Winehouse is a sexy girl with a sweet voice which can compete with the most famous soul singer. Add a good single and you get this.

Phoenix, Consolation Prizes

Phoenix is a french band from Versailles better known out of France before their last LP Its Never Been Like That. Here is Consolation Prizes one of the single from this album, the video idea is very good and shot in Paris. I saw them performing in Olympia in Paris the live was very intense and very good. They will perform next week in Versailles castle gardens with Air and I will be there :)

And the brand new videoclip Icky Thump (not directed by M. Gondry but by Malloy Brothers). This single is very good with a good guitar riff and interessant change of rythm. As usual simple but efficient.
